Sommocolonia Rental Agreement
Rate: $1,150
per week for up to 4 people. More than 4 is $100 per person per week extra.
Maximum 6.
$1,050 per week
(for up to 4 people) for periods of four weeks or longer.
Booking:
To reserve the house for the desired dates, send 50% of the total
amount you owe. The remaining half of the total will be due at the below
address two months prior to your arrival in Sommocolonia. Both the deposit
and the final payment are non-refundable. The house normally rents from
Saturday to Saturday.
Arrival Deposit: A breakage deposit of $300 cash (or the
equivalent in Euro) must be given to the caretaker when she gives you the
key. This money will be returned to you after she checks the house and you
return the key, minus any amount needed to cover breakage or lost items.
(Please try to replace any such things before check out time.)
Check-in time: 2-8 PM. Check-out time: 10 AM.
Agreement: I agree to the rental payment as described above. I
have read the Tuscany-rental.com Web site and the house sounds appropriate for my party. I
understand that it has minimal heating facilities. The only sources of
heat are: the kitchen fire place, studio wood stove, and electric heaters
for bathrooms and library room. I also understand that the furnishings in
the house are simple and in the style of a rustic Tuscan village house.
They include the use of linens & down comforters for the beds, cooking
utensils and other household items, but they do not include some things
that are normal for many American houses, i.e. plush carpets and
dishwasher. There is a clothes washer, but no dryer -- a clothes line is
in the garden. The house includes full gardening service and minimal house
cleaning service. The bathrooms will be cleaned & the floors mopped once a
week. (If you wish more cleaning help than this or would like your laundry
done, you may arrange this with the caretaker at your own expense.)
Questions which will arise upon arrival at the house (about firewood, how
to operate shutters, where to put garbage, etc.) will be answered by
reading “Instructions on the Use of the House” which are in a notebook on
the kitchen table. I agree to follow these instructions.
